Pottery is an ancient professions that continues today and you can see the potters at work shaping the clay in two squares (and many pots ) in the town and both are referred to as 'Potters Square'. Worth a look as you stroll through the fascinating narrow streets of Bhaktapur..

It is an inspiration to see this little square filled with pottery objects drying in the sun, produced in the side-roads and burned in one of the killns in the outskirts of the square.

The place is pretty central and you can not miss it. However, he is relatively quickly explored. You can see some locals laying out their pottery in the sun and selling it around. In some places you can look at the pottery oven or watch one or the other in the production of pottery Pots.

It’s interesting to see the pots being made and dried in the sun before being glazed and fired. Quite a few different places to see pots behind made and lots of stalls selling pottery items.

A very small place covered by few hutments. Not much of pottery is on display. Since its close to other attractions, it can be just glanced through.
