This small restaurant is a real gem in Luang Namtha!
The food was excellent, with a fine balance between local cuisine and western dishes. I advise you to try the risotto, which was just amazing! According to their menu, everything is prepared with fresh vegetables from the local market, while the service is made by people who come from underpriviledged villages and who are given a first chance to work in catering. The restaurant closes at 23:00, which may seem early, but is actually almost late for Luang Namtha.
The owner, who comes from new-Zealand, is very nice and welcoming. He offered my friend to bring their own food with them in the restaurant, so that we could eat all together(I absolutely wanted to eat there, but they already had bought something to eat)! The atmosphere is relaxed, with western music and a nice terrass with small lights and couches everywhere.
The only drawback is the price: it is indeed higher than the national average in Laos - which still remains cheaper than most restaurant in Europe, though. A meal with drinks turns around 10 euros. I think it is definitiely wort paying it to experience dinner in such a nice place, but I wouldn't advise you to eat there every evening if you are travelling on a very small budget.
