“Amazing time with bamboo raft drift”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

We spent about 1.5 hours with the bamboo raft drift, such an enjoyable trip with amazing scenery, fresh air and clean. It's quite busy so you should try to be there early to take your slot and the weather in the morning is not so hot. Just take a seat and enjoy the scenery in case you dont understand Chinese. We didn't!

The fee is included in the Day Pass, where you can choose what type of pass you would like (1, 2 or 3 day!). Transportation is very convenient and fast. A place to relax and lots of hiking!

“Amazingly busy”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

Bamboo rafts are following each other non-stop. It is so busy that we were given a time slot (1h30pm) for the next day. Our first day was all sold out. not quite a quiet ride on a river. More like a train when you look at the picture. But it does last long enough.

“Beautiful scenic views - enjoyable”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

The bamboo raft departs close to Best Western Jooch Resort Hotel. The ride is approximately 1 1/2 hours with mostly great views. 6 people per raft. They need to be averaged out in terms of weight. 6 heavy people can not go together on the same raft.
You will find plenty of tourist shops around the departure area as well the arrival area. They will sell plastic booties for the raft (RMB 1). They do rip very easily and I think are a huge environmental waste.
The boatmen will ask for RMB 60 to point out some "high lights". If you don't speak Chinese don't bother, except you find a boatmen who speaks English or you have a good translator with you.
Dress warm during the cold season 1 1/2 hours can become endless if you are cold. Those rafts will run during the rain as well.

“The highlight of our trip here!!”
Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

The bamboo rafting is not to be missed, as it was the highlight of our 2-day trip in the wuyishan area.

Their is a requested tip that goes to the boatmen: pay it, split between everyone it isn't much at all, plus it keeps the boatmen happy, and you'll have a nicer trip as a result.
