The Soaring Eagle casino/resort was built decades ago but one would think it was new.The premises are very well maintained;the rooms are clean, the furniture of the lobby regularly dusted.Someone spilled water in one of the halls and a security guard appeared immediately, cautioning people to walk around the puddle while a cleaning person mopped the water up.The service is impeccable and the staff is genuinely friendly.I loved the thematic design(Ojibwa);everything in and of the resort has an Ojibwa motif;the timbers used in the construction of the place, the flagstone encased footings supporting the timber columns, every piece of furniture and every table setting piece right down to the coffee cups pay homage to the Ojibwa culture and people. The lobby and hallways are decorated with beautiful artwork. There is a natural gas fire pit outside surrounded by flagstone benches. The pool is actually filled with WARM water! And there is an indoor hot tub and an outdoor hot tub. Also mention of the concert arena is merited. The arena has great acoustics and there's lots of legroom. The wife and I saw B.B.King at the Blues Festival there and then spent the night.Wonderful, just wonderful.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice but choose a room "with a view". These rooms look out on wooded lan...

Just another one of our little get aways. Room was nice. Beds were great, we had a top floor room looking out over the golf course. Very nice. Very quiet. Great location. Can walk to the casino any time you want. We get up very early about 2am. Hit the casino. You won't regret it.

It's not just for gambling! This hotel has a wonderful spa where you can pamper yourself...it also has a nice indoor pool area with small hot tub -- and the outdoor hot tub is great! There are 4 restaurants (from sit down to buffet to burgers to deli) that all have good food. We went on a special -- it's a bit pricey if you don't hit one of their specials. We have been several times, and we always enjoy our stay.

Our rooms were very nice and clean. Check in took too long. Over 30 minutes in line and our friends room wasn't ready yet even though was right next to ours. So they brought their bags to our room so we could go down to gamble.

For the second Easter weekend in a row, my husband and I met his parents and stayed 3 nights at the resort. Our check-in was wonderfully quick even though there were several pieces to our food and play package and two rooms to process. My in-laws got the barrier-free room that was needed in one tower, and my husband and I were given a quiet room in the tower closer to the spa and pool area. We were able to pay for the entire stay at check-in so that my in-laws wouldn't need to see any details of the cost which was a benefit for us. My husband and I used the fitness center and the pool. All areas were clean and relaxing. Everywhere we went, any employee that we encountered wished us a good day, Happy Easter, etc. Because we stayed over Easter and had been there multiple nights, there was an egg prize. My in-laws got $60 at the Steakhouse, and my husband and I got $50 more dollars in free play. Because no one had to drive for entertainment or meals, we were able to relax and just visit. I will definitely look at Soaring Eagle first the next time we are looking to "meet in the middle" and see our family.

We love coming to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, entertainment is always great, the casino easy to navigate and lots of fun. So we were quite disappointed to find a winding line going from the check-in desk down the hall towards the casino on our recent trip. Valet luggage carts piled up in the lobby along with more and more people. To their credit, they did finally add staff to the desk (eventually 5 in all) to help, but it was too little, too late. Why not have the 'high roller' check-in girls help out instead of just sitting there doing nothing? How about offering a free play on a machine or a discounted drink while we waited? So disappointing.....
