My boyfriend and I (ages 22 & 26) went here for Memorial Day. We decided on it because the weather wasn't good enough yet to go to a beach or do anything else outdoors. Also, the price was very good. They've lowered their prices drastically since first opening, so, it's $12.50/person for a half day (5 hours) or $17.50/person for a full day from open to close. For us, 5 hours was more than enough time to spend at the water park so we purchased the half day passes. The facility is very modern and clean, and I personally enjoyed that they incorporated the Ojibwe language with everything at the park/hotel. I was worried that there wouldn't be much for us to do at our age, but that turned out not to be true. Both of the water slides are very fun (and fast!) and that was the ride we went on the most. It's nice floating into the little river that takes you back around again. We also tried out the FlowRider, which isn't for little kids. It's fun but it only lasts a few seconds if you are inexperienced, especially if you try to surf. The hot tub was great, and it was in between the rock climbing pool (which we didn't try, but will next time) and the pool with a basketball hoop. We stopped into the eatery, which wasn't too badly priced for a waterpark. I got a slice of pizza, which was actually two pieces, and my boyfriend got a Caribbean jerk chicken wrap with french fries. The total was $13. The food was really good. The only suggestions I have for the water park is that I think the staff should do run-thrus of the locker rooms more often; people tend to leave towels all over the place and little kids make a disaster of the restrooms. I also wish there was a deeper pool to just swim in. Nothing major! We'll definitely be going back. The price is great and it's only 45 minutes from where we live.
