namutoni will be crossed by all tourists, its one of the entrance gates to etosha.... namutoni offers a supermarket, post-office, curio-shop, toilets, washing facilities, self-catering-accomodation and a viewing point for the animals which are crossing nearby by to the water hole.

Namutoni was our first stop in Etosha. I have to say that luckily all three camps do not differ much as far as amenities are concerned: there is a bar and restaurant along with a little souvenir shop. Camping is spacious with clean and numerous toilets and showers. best of all: the showers are hot!
There is also a water hole at all three camps, In Namutoni we saw nothing.

close to Namutoni there most famous water hole for lions sightseeing. Despite it is not visible from the lodge itself it is less than one Km far. It is the best option for who is leaving or entering the park from the East gate.
