We stayed at the Negresco for 1 night on our way back to Cairo from Siwa. The family room was great, since it splits in two and you don't have to wait on the balcony while the kids go to sleep. It was empty, since summer is the busy time. The breakfast took a while coming. At 450LE, it was a bit on the pricey side, but much nicer than the cheaper hotel we stayed at on the way to Siwa. We would probably look for somewhere a bit cheaper for a longer stay. It's right on the Corniche, and a walk along there is very enjoyable.
