Beautiful property. Many exotic and native plants. Very well maintained property. So many trails it would take time to explore them all. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. This place is exactly what you would expect, beautiful grounds and perfectly maintained.

Also includes admission to Whiting Forest’s canopy walk. A yearly admission card is very reasonable and a great gift idea for residents.

The Gardens are a legacy from the Dow family. They reside on the families' former home. They have done quite a job of creating an Oasis. The gardens wind through grassy knolls with all sorts of plants - both local and exotic. We were so surprised to find such extensive gardens is a small mid-Western town. Well worth the tour.

This is a beautiful place to visit. It does cot a fee but you can stay all day. There is a gift shop and rest stations. Also a cafe. I really enjoyed the Origami theme and Dow Gardens has a wonderful Christmas event also called "Candlelight walk" with Santa Clause and hot chocolate and cookies. Teenagers and children will love the canopy walk.
