The prices reflect the atmosphere more so than the quality of the food so a good meal can be obtained at a very reasonable price. There is a variety of offerings and it is prepared well. The uniqueness of the menu in the Marquette area distinguishes this restaurant from the others.
The service was friendly and helpful especially with the answers to the dietary limitations. Both of us enjoyed our selections which were shrimp based.
The atmosphere is OK but the long narrow room makes limitations. It gives you the feeling of being more in a bar than a restaurant but not a low class bar. The owner seems to be trying to give it a N'Orleans feel but has to be careful not to overstep into the tacky atmosphere. If it were my choice I would suggest more small to nicely framed medium sized pictures and sketches on the walls that reflect the Louisiana Bayou or Gulf Coast.
