“Not Strenuous But It Is A Hike Upwards”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

The trek up the mini-mountain is not stressful if you are in reasonably good shape but you do not have to be an athlete to do it. Many of the rougher sections have been well terraced and on the steeper inclines there are wooden stairs.

The walk is pleasant (always carry water with you regardless of the temp) but it is the view you get when you reach the top where it can be congested with people during the LeafPeepers time. If you do go when the colors are out then do not forget your camera.

“Wintertime Hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

It was our first time hiking this with snow. It was wonderful and the view breathtaking. You can see so much more without all the vegetation of summer

“Nice hike”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

If you want to have a nice little hike and see the views then this is a nice hike. It's dog friendly as well. The trail is pretty easy but has a lot of wooden steps to climb. At the top are wooden decks/platforms with seating to enjoy the view. I'd say if you are in good shape and walking quickly, you can be at the top in 30 min or less. If your not much of a hiker then give yourself a little more time.

Great Hike to see the fall leaves. The paths are easy to navigate. The view is beautiful. This is something families can do for free! From school age children to grandparents.
