This is the very best restaurant in Michigan. Everyone must try to get to this wonderful spot. So great that we had two dinners there over the span of 3 days.

Service is truly wonderfull and you must make a reservation. Cheese plate ap is to die for -- everything is.

It is the BEST!

“A bit of France in Michigan”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

I loved this restaurant and plan on making it part of our annual trip to Glen Arbor. We sat on the outdoor patio and were treated to a little "amuse bouche" along with excellent bread. The appetizers were excellent - a cold beet soup, tuna tartare. The entrees were fantastique! I had the duck two ways and it was as good as any "big city" French restaurant. We ended the meal with an amazing chocolate cake. The wine selection was good with some interesting choices at all price points. The service was excellent too - a good balance between friendly and professional.

“Wow, wow and wow”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We went as party of 6 for grown up night out. We had a lovely evening and sat outside. I felt like I was on someone's back porch (which you basically are). It was cozy, intimate and just lovely. Service was very personal, with lots of pleasant and personal notes to the menu when questions where asked. I can hardly say what to recommend, because everyone loved everything. Save room for desert, I usually am good and skip it, but others where ordering and it sounded so good. The phyllo wrapped chocolate cake was one of the best deserts I have ever had.

“tres bien”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

This was truly an excellent dining experience. We dined as couples and had drinks, wine, les plats and desserts. Everything was excellent. The salad was included with the meal and was perfect for the meal. We were given Mediterranean olives and bread and a free appetizer. The beef tenderloin, pork tenderloin and halibut were superb. I have never had better pork tenderloin. There is a great selection of wine and after dinner drinks. The menu is limited but has something for everyone. I would dine here again and recommend to anyone in the Glen Arbor/Traverse City area. There is outdoor dining and although we dined indoors it was still cozy and very French.

“What a find! Great food in the middle of nowhere”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Six of us went on a Sunday night without a reservation. They were full, but noted we could dine outside. Best decision we made since the inside was tiny. Outside the weather was nice and when it started to get cool, they turned on the gas radiant heater.

Service was excellent. Andrea knew the menu and could exp, ain't what the French terms meant. The wines ordered were very good. The wine list is extensive for such a small place. She bought out a complimentary appetizer of a small crisp with a cheese topping. The creamy cheese had other ingredients and the flavor was wonderful.

The number of choices on the menu is somewhat limited but everything we had was great. Veal medallions with a light sause, breaded eggplant, beef tenderloin with a bernaise sause, and salmon with a cream sause.

We ordered some scotch and a cream brûlée for desert. The scotch pours were at least a double ang great for the price. The cream brûlée had a unique flavor which we thought was pumpkin spice but found out it was cinnamon. Delightful.

They closed at 9 pm on Sunday. We didn't realize the time as we left at 9:15. We didn't feel rushed. All in all a fabulous dinner.
