“What a great state park!”

We visited to the park the beginning of October. What a unique place, this was my 4th visit here and it doesn't disappoint. The water clarity is awesome and you can see lots of fish. The replaced the raft since I was here last, it is very easy to move it across the water. If you are anywhere near this place, you must stop!

My husband and I were awed by the clarity of the water and the huge trout swimming below the open center of the raft. The raft is propelled across the spring by turning a wheel--it takes some muscle. One of the highlights of our 10 day trip north.

This is a tiny state park near Manistique. The only feature is a spring fed pond. A hand propelled cable guided raft is provided to allow users to silently glide out across the pond. The center of the raft is open, allowing riders to see down to the bottom of the crystal clear spring to observe fish and the water bubblin g up out of the spring. The park offers a chance to unwind for a few minutes during a day of driving.

Very nice and clean state park, with the attraction of the bubbling natural springs.....
Lots of fish, water is crystal clear, just a very nice stop to enjoy and stretch your legs......
Very nice gift shop and restrooms are also very clean and well tended....
Enjoyed it, a must see for U.P Michigan visitors.
