“Thanks for always having cheap food with a smile!”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

This place has been a family gem for us for a while. Cheap breakfast and good hearty meals, you can't really go wrong. If you are looking for gourmet, this place is the polar opposite so don't even bother coming here. Yes, their veggies are all out of can but for one of the previous reviewers to complain this place was expensive is just crazy. Every meal on their menu is priced from $4.50-$10 at the most. For $1.00-$1.50 more you can add soup( they have yummy soups!!!), salad and choice of dessert which would be either a scoop of icecream, rice pudding and jello, all three items!!! Bread baskets are also on the table. Perhaps my favorite thing on the menu is their chicken gravy. Remember when you were in school and all chicken/turkey dinners had that neon green colored gravy??? And it was delicicous? Yes! They have it and no it's not really neon green but there is alot of chicken base in it to give it that color probably. It's fast service and our family of three can get off for under $30 including drinks and tip for hearty homestyle meals that leave you very satisfied. Is it a young hip crowd? Nope, it's a little older generation which why they are lighthanded with the salt. Go there a few times though and you'll be a regular forever!

“A Disappointing restaurant!!”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

What a disappointment this restaurant was!! Crowded and you were sitting with other tables right on top of you. Wait staff was not very pleasant. Food was horribly bland - didn't even taste like they had salted or peppered it. Green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can. Our meal was supposed to come with dessert and when we asked about it, the waitress acted like we were purrint her out. Will not be back!!

“Good intent but poor food”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

I have eaten here several times since 2007. Each time i have tried to enjoy the food and like the staff. Each time i come away disappointed. Why? The food is average, although a cold turkey sandwich was poorly made, the meat thick and stringy, the bread too difficult to chew. Another visit just as disappointing: a poorly made hamburger, fries that were overly done, and a soft drink filled with ice and little drink. The wait staff tries very hard; they are nice for the most part, although seated near the waitress gathering place, they certainly gab too much. I haven't been back since last year. And I doubt I shall return. The prices are just too high for what you get!
