After the hustle of the crowds and fudge shoppers choking the walks, the Carriage House
at the Iroquois Hotel is a special treat away from the Main Street noise. We look forward to lunch or dinner there each time we visit the Island.
A well appointed linen service dining room, ( you may also dine outdoors with pleasant views of the lake and harbor), offers a menu to match the decor. Lovely background music, as well.
Our lite lunch included an excellent scoop of seafood salad and a delicious turkey panini sandwich. Warm Parker House rolls were also served. I ordered a cup of the split pea soup
which tasted like too much rosemary, or some other spice. The waitress said she'd pass my
comment on but the 8.50 appeared on our bill anyway.
Notwithstanding, we'll try again next time...
