Description: This popular Mackinac Island eatery features a celebratory horse theme starring the 1938 true life story of the famous champion thoroughbred, Seabiscuit. The former 1800's bank building was renovated to reveal the original brick walls and hardwood floors transforming it into one of Mackinac Island’s most popular watering holes. A unique and casual menu appropriately fits this cozy café. Seabiscuit fans rave about the deliciously fresh menu options. Discover your new favorite cocktail, the Mamosa. Open 7am until 2am serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and creative cocktails.

My husband is gluten-free, so he really appreciated his menu! Food was very good, but the place is small and was quite crowded the three times we were there.

We both had the whitefish rueben as recommenced by others. Great tasting sandwich. Place is small, tables turnover quickly, although we were in early today (5 pm). It was less than $30. Small bar, 6 beers on tap. Friendly staff, manager came round to ask about us. May go back again tomorrow.

Breakfast at the Seabiscuit was very good. We intended to return for lunch or dinner, but never made it back. It's a good dining choice on Main Street while you're on Mackinac Island.

The Seabiscuit Café on Main Street is quite small and very busy usually. The server was very friendly. The sandwiches we ordered were very good as was the soup.

There was a little bit of a wait to get in so we ended up sitting at the bar but it was worth it. The bartender was great-very friendly, helpful, and made great drink suggestions. We ate there for lunch and had the bbq pulled pork sandwhich and whitefish reuben. The pork was good but the treuben was phenomenal! It is probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever had in a restaurant. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch-good service, great food, and decent prices.
