We booked this hotel for 3 nights based on the reviews and were not disappointed. We did pop for a 1 bedroom suite with a balcony and it was so worth the money. The décor was beautiful and the suite very comfortable. The beds were terrific and I am fussy about my bed. The living space was large with a large TV, couch and 2 comfortable chairs. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave which is great. The weather was not the best when we went, but having a suite and being able to look out on Main Street made the trip very enjoyable. The staff is so accommodating and nice, and every night the housemaid comes by for turn-down and a small box of fudge. We even got a coupon for a free 1/2 pound of fudge during check-out. It is for Joann's Fudge right downstairs (nice and convenient). The walls are a tad thin, but they do have rules for noise and we were really bothered. There was a slight buzzing near the sink area (which is outside of the shower and toilet) and they suggested I try turning off the heat (yes, we did have the heat on at times) but it did not help. It wasn't bad enough to report again but probably should be looked at. Without a doubt, we would stay there again and I highly recommend it. We also toured the Grand Hotel which I don't think is worth the money to look around, but the Fort was very impressive and educational. There are also many paths to walk and we went to the Arch. It was a little cool to rent a bike, but many folks did. Had a terrific meal at Goodfellow's (but pricey), Also had a good breakfast at Pink Pony, but the waitress (Nikki?) made it even more enjoyable.
