“Best Ice Cream in a long time!”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

My husband and I recently enjoyed a trip to Mackinac Island and discovered Sadie's Ice cream parlor. We are from TX, so unfortunately we don't have Hudsonville Ice cream products near us. It was incredible! I had a coconut flavor that was out of this world. If you are from outside Michigan, definitely try their ice cream! The parlor itself was cute and the staff was friendly. Nice to get near the Grand Hotel without paying the $10 fee. It was fun to sit on the porch and watch everyone trying to come up and down the big hill.

“Good ice cream to enjoy on the porch”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

It is definitely worth stopping by Sadie's and sitting out on the front porch of the Grand Hotel. The ice cream was good - nothing overly special but a great snack! The ice cream parlor has a great ambiance to it.

“Nice without hotel visitor fee”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

One of my gripes about the Grand Hotel is its policy of charging day visitors to see the famous front porch, etc. Since Sadies is on the corner of the building, you can have your Ice cream without a surcharge. Good variety of flavors and nice quality. Perfect on a hot day.

“Great ice cream but very pricey”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We stopped here for ice cream after walking to the Grand. They serve Hudsonville ice cream so it's very good. The prices are extremely high though. $4 per scoop and sundaes are $8-9. However, I had the best sundae I've ever had here - their version of a turtle. Delicious.
