“Lake eerie gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

Part of the surprise of Luna pier is finding this restaurant. It looks like a dive. Nothing special inside or out , but it is special among the locals. Food is good and menu varies. Stand outs would be seafood and giant hamburgers. Easy parking , about ablock and 1/2 from interstate 75 and a block from lake eerie. I would stay away from the steak. Family friendly

“A memory in time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

I am of a certain age and remember when restaurant had an all inclusive price for dinner. The restaurant needs some updating but that's part of the charm. It's a place where the owener and waitress's are more than to seat you and take your order. Very friendly, helpful with suggestions, our gal was Cindy been with the restaurant for 39 years. Cindy also mentioned that night there were local fireworks (we out of towners) and how to avoid the construston on I75 North. Now the food. we enjoyed it. The portions were huge and the menu was not overly big (nice change), If anyone had frieds from Cedar Point, their fries brings back fond memories. We had the shrimp and scallops, Yes the scallops were breaded and tendered. The shrimp was huge, I had six and that was enough. The desserts were home made.

“Very good perch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013

Great food and friendly atmosphere, in the bar or the restaurant, good size portions and prepared very well. Always greeted by Mark with a nice comment, makes you WANT to come back, even if the food wasn't so good.

“Delicious fresh fish”

We go here for family meals quite often to celebrate birthdays. We can always count on the lake perch or walleye dinners to be fabulous.
