White Pine Village is a very cool place to visit if you are in to history. They have moved lots of old buildings to the village from the surrounding area. There are old general stores, doctor's office, restaurant, etc...

The neatest part is the old chapel with a beautiful stained glass window. I also enjoyed the old sawmill, they had a father and son running wood through the saw which is powered by a tractor.

This is a great place to spend an afternoon in Ludington. It also has an old time ice cream shop based on the honor system.

Just a little outside downtown Ludington (about 6 miles) is this treasure!
We guided ourselves among the 29 structures that are either original or replicated.
All very interesting depicting life in mid-19th century Michigan.

Photographed my cousins wedding in September and took some fantastic photo! Not to toot my own horn. The historic buildings offer a great backdrop and the grounds are full of different areas that offer various perspective. I had a great time in the Village.

This is a miniature of Dearborn's Greenfield Village, with 29 historic buildings lovingly restored and furnished. We spent an entire afternoon there, wallowing in history and a look back into the past. If you're in Ludington, you have to see this place.

Very nice historical village with about 30 buildings to visit. Map is well laid out and easy to follow. Loved the Dr.'s Office the best - take note of the price list for services! Had a few "hands-on" exhibits, which would be great for kids. Nice little gift shop with friendly, informative staff. Only suggestion I have is to clean up some of the exhibits, i.e. dust, cob webs. A couple of buildings did not have lights in them, or were not working properly. Ice Cream available for purchase in the Ice Cream Parlor.
