“Fantastic little place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2012

We were there for a late lunch and were lucky to get a table. It's seat yourself. Our waitress wasn't around to clean it up. Had to wait quite a while until someone else came over to do it. And then she did not seem to be very efficient because people who came in shortly after us and even later were served well before we were. She was pleasant enough though. That's was kept this from being an 'excellent'. The food was VERY good. Great sandwiches and soup!

“Hidden gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

Great place to eat and get baked goods! Off the main drag and quirky and unique. Loved the eclectic, down-home gramma's house decorating contrasted with the incredible food. The waitstaff are all very friendly and take time to talk to you and actually converse. Wonderful place--we ate there several times!

“Wonderful place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

We went here for lunch and really enjoyed the soup and great sandwiches we had. Our 4 year old granddaughter ordered a peanut butter and jelly that was on thick homemade bread and had enough peanut butter and jelly to make anyone happy! We loved the food, the homey atmosphere and the friendly staff!

“A good find of the main drag”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2012

At first I was afraid we had been led astray by Tripadvisor. But that was not the case. After stepping into the cool, kitschy, hodgepodge decor of this restaurant, we were greeted by very friendly waitstaff. We sat down at a table reminiscent of the kitchen table I sat at when I was growing up. The menu carried unique unique items like antipasto salad and a roasted vegetable sandwich. I give the restaurant for stars instead of five because the ingredients could have been better. The lettuce in the salad was romaine. It would have been better with field greens. The bread was good, but artisanal bread would have been best. Overall, though, a good find.
