Loved this place. I don't know what it was about Ludington, but they had lousy waitresses everywhere we went and THIS PLACE was the exception! Best waitress in town!! ALL the staff we encountered in here was very friendly and welcoming. Great food/ice cream, though a tad bit pricey. Fun place to visit and you can see where ice cream is made. We found there's not a whole lot to do in Ludington but this place should definitely be on your list. Would definitely recommend and would go back when we're in the area!

What a fun place, love the decor, music, brought back fond memories. It truely is a happy place as their sloan states. The minute we walked in the place we couldn't decide if we wanted to eat lunch or have ice cream, so we opted for having both and we were not disappointed. My husband had the Fresh Roated Ranch Turkey Melt, which was plenty large, he enjoyed. I had the Trukey Bacon Wrap, which was very tastey and to large to eat both halves. Then on to the best part DESSERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the Fruit Salad Sundae. It had vanilla ice cream loaded with strawberries, pineapple, cherries & banannas, needles to say I eat the whole thing. My husband had a scoop of the orange pinapple ice cream, which he throughly enjoyed. This place is a gem -- it's family owned since 1948, please don't be discouraged when you arrive and see there is a long line, that goes on all day, because they serve beakfast, lunch & dinner all day long, but they do a great job seating people. While you wait you can make your way over to the ice cream counter & see all 36 flavors offered. Don't pass this place up. Save us some ice cream we will be back :-)
