“Love the burgers...”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This bar/restaurant is very popular. The decor is all local memorabilia. The food is good. In the winter they have great specials...$3 burgers or burritos on Wednesday and a fantastic shrimp boil on Thursday. The staff are helpful and friendly.

“Your typical little bar...but great singer!”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

A group of us stopped in on a Friday night, the food is typical bar food, has a good variety from mexican to fish and chips. The singer they had in was great! A few people were dancing around, This area would be perfect for a bar crawl!

“good food, nice atmosphere, close to harbor”

Very convenient to the marina where we were docked. Good food at a good price, nice atmosphere. Large craft beer menu, good variety on the dinner menu. Enjoyed the lobster macaroni and cheese!

“Happy Hour deals that can't be beat!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

This cute restaurant in downtown Ludington has good food and great service. If you like getting more bang for your buck, this is the place to go!
Happy Hour, 4:30- 6:00, has their entire menu of appetizers for $3, even chicken or beef quesadillas which normally sell for around $7. Huge portions of fresh food. Deep fried green beans are to die for too!
Beer specials abound including micro beers on tap. Random, the bartender (yes, that is really his name) is a treasure and his wife, Stephanie is a doll too. If you like a casual, fun atmosphere with good food this is the place to go.
I should mention that have a nice deck out back with a peek-a-boo water view for dining or just drinks on nice summer days.

“hidden gem in my own town”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

This wonderful restaurants only disadvantage is that it is tucked down on south James street, and we didn't even realized it was there because there isn't much down that way, But believe me, after noticing it and deciding to try it, we have been back 2 more times in as many weeks. The food is delicious and the prices are great! They run a different special every day..for instance, Wednesday's are 3.00 burger or burrito day. They have happy hour from 430-600 every day and all appetizers are 3.00 and there are many drink specials as well. The place is not real big and the first time we went, there weren't a lot of people in there, but the next 2 times (one being a weekend and the other being the 3.00 burger night) it was quite crowded. The atmosphere is fun, with the walls covered with pictures of local history. Ask for the burbon burger..it is not on the menu yet (as they were doing it as a special and it was such a big hit, they decided to keep it). The place is a bar and after about 10 pm, it does bring in the locals as one of their gathering spots for drinking, so go early in the evening if you just want the dinner crowd.
Not sure if they will change in the summer, but right now, they are closed on Monday's and Tuesdays, so plan accordingly and enjoy!
