Booked a room for two nights, rooms are clean and fresh paint, tastefull done., best bed ever , had a wonderful host.went on up to Frankfort for two nights, and decided to stay another night, but I came back to lighthouse motel, Lighthouse beat harbor inn in Frankfort hands down. Paid much more for room in Frankfort, yet not as nice as Lighthouse Motel. I will return to Lighthouse Motel. I urge any one that is planning on staying in ludington, to try Lighthouse Motel, one block to lake Mich., and walking to down town and restaurant.

this is a very quaint hotel with super nice owners. Jill was so accommodating, she even got us an extra night at last minute! very close to the beach, easy walk there and to town also. great location and a very good value.

The motel is cute and clean. The people working were friendly too. The best part it was super close to the beach. Watching the sun set over Lake Michigan was a delight. Bring a hair drier and plan on getting coffee in town.

Stayed here before and it was so-so. Then, Jill took over and WOW, the inprovements so far, are great. Our room (13) was so cozy and very beachy feeling. The in room mini fridge/freezer made it very conveinent to keep milk for morning cereal. Jill is very accomodating and am looking forward to additional upgrades. We parked our car and was able to walk everywhere - for ice cream at The House of Flavors, to the beach, to the marina to watch the Badger come in. This motel is well worth the money and conveinence. I recommend this motel to anyone interested in visiting Ludington.

Room Tip: Just enjoy your mattress. I had thee best three nights of sleep ever because the mattress was so comfortable - I didn't want to leave :)

I spent a night here in June, room 14.
Really scoping out motels for an extended stay if I wanted to do some cycling and bring a bike.
14 is upstairs...it would be a great room for the July 4 parade, but not if you want to drag a bike up into your room.

None of the rooms seemed that accessable for that purpose the ones off the street have steps, maybe the ground floor ones under 14 would work.

No gfi plugs near the sink? weird.

You can hear what's going on outside to the north at least in 14 due to the bath ceiling vent location.
My room was decent sized but the shower area was small, and either here or avenue, the next night I pickup up some sort of foot fungus ...so bring some flip flops or some thing.
