We stayed here for the MSU vs. Notre Dame game and we thought the rooms were great. It was my wife, our 4 month old, and I staying, so having the "sitting" room was nice. We were able to fit our daughters swing in the room along with the stroller and other necessary "baby" items.
The King bed was very comfortable, and the place was somewhat newer and updated. The bathroom could have been a little bit bigger, but we were able to manage.
Each night from 5pm - 7pm, you can get 2 complimentary drinks per person, which was a nice touch. Also, the continental breakfast was included, or you could pay $3.99 per person to upgrade to the "hot" breakfast.
All in all, this was a nice hotel and we would stay here again.

The rooms were clean and the accomadations will great for those who decided to use them. The best part was the staff who were friendly from the day I called to book till check out. Also, the breakfast was great for free food!

The lobby is great but when I saw the rooms in this highly rated place I was pretty shocked. They are dark and dungeon like. The layout is like a "shotgun" house-long and narrow with a bathroom the size of a public restroom stall. It was extremely claustrophobic.
After looking at several rooms in addition to the one I checked in to-I took my luggage and left for the Residence Inn across the street-which had very huge, beautifu,l light rooms.

This was the MOST pleasant surprise on our cross-country trip. We had a beautiful suite which was quiet and comfortable. We arrived in time for the evening appetizer and drinks (free). The grounds are beautifully maintained. They take dogs (for a small fee) and there is a sidewalk where you can walk and walk with almost no traffic (pedestrian or cars). Continental breakfast is included and for a fee you can have made-to-order eggs, etc. I would almost go back to Lansing just to stay there. It is just off I-75 and convenient to restaurants. If you arrive in time, make sure you drive to Horrocks Farm Market (right by the Interstate) and get their carry-out shrimp, etc. Their wine selection is fantastic and they have many choices of little wines--great for travel. You can't go wrong at this friendly hotel.

Room Tip: The ground-floor corner room we stayed in was next to the door (convenient) and extra large.

Great hotel with a super staff. Very clean room, a super value for the money, and a great breakfast in a pleasing atmosphere. The breakfast chef went the extra mile to make sure our food was what we wanted. We had an experience that was exceptional at half the price. Definitely recommend and would return.
