“Wonderful but a bit pricey...”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

This Panera Bread is like all the others. Free Wi FI - food tasty, good but a bit pricey. Also this panera was located in the Lansing mall and was great to visit prior to shopping / before the mall opened up. IT is clean and the restrooms were clean.

“Inconsistant service and a lack of respect for the dining experience.”
Reviewed November 27, 2010

Giant corporate casual dining chains are everywhere, but that doesn't mean they are your only options. This plasticized, muzak pumpin' piece o' crud has the audacity to pretend that it didn't completely make up the name "Panera" after changing it from "The St. Louis Bread Company". Just like they abandond the citizens of St. Louis, they apparently didn't have a problem abandoning real homemade food. The bread is sometimes stale, and their sandwiches taste premade. The staff is 90% teenagers, who often seem much more interested in the daily gossip than helping me with my order. The bagels sometimes have a "freezer-burn" taste to them, and appear shrunken. When I go late in the day, the soup is like glue from sitting too long, and the bathroom often resemble one in a busy airport. The one good thing about this Panera is that it's right across the corridor from a nice clean Chipotle, go there instead!
