“Excellent food, great service”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Our entire baseball team descended on Opa's after a game. Food was excellent and service was great. They handled our 25 plus crowd with ease. I had the honey mustard almond salad with chicken and it was amazing. Everyone in our group raved about their food. Lots of big screen TVs for great sports viewing too. Oh and a bloody mary station where you can make your own.

“Good Food...Slow Service...Strange Ambiance”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Visited here for lunch on a Saturday. Food was good. Service was slow to start but our waitress picked up speed as the meal went on!

I had to laugh at the way the "World Famous Cheese" Saganaki appetizer was advertised on the menu -- it implies that THEY made it famous! (Definitely not the case).

Two more observations -- this bar/restaurant seems lost trying to find it's identity. It's part racing boat...part club...part corner bar. None of it works well together and it gives the place a strange vibe. Like a teenager who just graduated high school and doesn't know what he/she wants to be when they grow up!

The owner had several friends visiting for the holidays as we and several other patrons arrived. She seemed more concerned about walking around and catching up with her friends than making sure the paying customers were greeted and had their drink & food orders taken. She looked at the tables numerous times, even stopping herself from laughing too loud by saying "Oh...there are customers here." That appeared rude.

“Great Sautéed Perch”
Reviewed August 21, 2012 via mobile

This is a great place to hang out. The front wall is made up of two large garage type doors they open so you can enjoy the fresh air. I love the sautéed Perch. Theyost often only mention deep fried but if you ask you will not be disappointed by the sautéed perch. My wife lives the spinach pie and has it almost everytime. Finally the gyro's and mac n' cheese are great tasting and more than a meal. The decor is nautical theme in the cigarette boat kinda way with a traditional bar that is a pleasant sit. When you're in town go, you won't be disappointed.
