LOVE her sandwiches. Made with tender loving care and are delicious! One of my favorite things to do is pick up one of her sandwiches, head to the beach, hunt the shore for pretty rocks, and then reward myself later with a good book and a Trish's Dishes sandwich. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Trish's food is amazing! Full of flavor, reasonable prices, large portions and some unique treats as well. Everything I have had has been delicious!
My favorites are the greek panini wrap and buffalo chicken sandwich~

“Good Food...In House or To Go!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2012

We discovered Trish's Dishes' new cafe' during a recent trip to the Leelanau Peninsula, when we stopped for lunch in the village of Lake Leelanau. The name was familiar to us because Trish is a caterer who supplies sandwiches to a cafe' we really like, Deb's Dish in Suttons Bay, and because when we're up north we often pass by the empty storefront where her catering business used to be. So we were intrigued to see that her new venue had inside dining as well as takeout entrees for busy households.

The cafe' is in what we call the Fish Hooked Plaza, next to a sporting goods store by that name in a rustic log building. Inside the cafe' is cozy, bright and comfortable. The luncheon menu isn't huge but includes a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches, with a rotation of off-menu specials as well. (FYI, several vegetarian choices.) There's also a separate menu of salads and entrees for heat-and-eat/take-home dinners. We were impressed with the flavors represented -- local fruit; some Asian and Mediterranean influences as well.

We started our meal with a delicious Italian wedding soup; I chose the panini of the day while my partner had a beef and cheddar panini. The sandwiches were both fresh and tasty; high quality ingredients; not too much butter/oil on the bread (a big pet peeve of mine when it comes to hot deli sandwiches!).

The counter staff was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our lunch very much. This is a nice addition to Lake Leelanau, which lost a popular restaurant a couple of years ago. It's also convenient for travelers in the area; it's a nice centrally located spot on the Leelanau where visitors can either stop in for a quick meal or create a picnic takeout to enjoy at the dunes/on the beach/"on the farm" at one of the nearby Port Oneida historical sites.

Our recommendation (based on what we did ): Have lunch here; grab some great coffee or iced tea next door at Pedaling Beans coffeehouse; wander across the street to Leelanau Pie and Pastry for a to-go dessert.
