Good location right off I-94. Sufficient free parking. Lobby very clean and attractive. Staff friendly, courteous & efficient. Room spacious & very clean. Bathroom ideal with long vanity area and large shelf underneath. Shower & tub area very good with good water temp & water pressure. Towels thick enough and plentiful. Everything in good working order. Bed extremely comfortable and pillows large and fluffy. Linens a little thin. Air-conditioner works great and quietly. Breakfast was great with hot items, including cheese omelette. Pool is medium size, lots of towels, chairs and tables. Temp is great. Hot tub is extremely warm, clean. Overall, a really good motel. Value is okay. For the value, it should have a small refrigerator and microwave. I am not sure if those are available in other rooms. Ours did not, however there was room for them.

We stayed there one night. Entrance was difficult to find. The hotel is located behind a long term stay facility. To get to the hotel you must go down what appears to be a service road, complete with large drainage hole. The lot looked like it had not been resurfaced in decades. The management was so cheap they merely had cracks filled in. Looked like crap. There were only 3 cars in the lot which was pretty spooky. The doors were old and not automated.I went to the front desk and no one was there. We had made a bit of a racket coming in,and thought the desk clerk would arrive. After a minute I yelled out HELLO and a guy appeared from the back room. He seemed bored and did not even welcome us. The room was decent. We went to the pool and tried to use the Jacuzzi, but the water was hot enough to boil a lobster! That was dangerous and shows a general disregard for important details by the manager. When I stopped at the desk later, I asked for local restaurant recommendations. The clerk looked confused. They did not even have a simple list of local eateries. Then I asked about the nearest ATM and she did not even know where one was! Again, poor attention to detail. The free breakfast was unimpressive. How this place stays open is puzzling. So are the positive reviews on this website which was the basis for us staying there.

Hi Tom, it seems your stay with us was entirely not positive. We pride ourselves on our newly renovated property and attention to customer service, so the fact you think the opposite is unfortunate and clearly is a surprise based on the great reviews we have been receiving. The issues you incurred will be addressed to front desk staff promptly.

The Hotel was clean and well-kept. The service was well above our expectation. We have stayed at many hotels, but never had the staff go so above and beyond expectations. They were kind and extremely accommodating with any requests.

Our room was fine, but small. Not a problem. The front desk person was very friendly. Internet worked great... The only problem with the room was the height of the bed. I'm 5' tall and could just barely get into it! I finally pulled over the ottoman and climbed on it to get in bed. That's just silly. What is the point of having such a high bed? A big drawback to this hotel is that it is right next to the interstate and the traffic sounds are super loud. We didn't sleep well due to the noisy trucks going by all night long. I always enjoy making my own waffle for breakfast at AmercInn hotels. One suggestion if someone from the hotel is reading this. Getting into the hotel parking lot is very awkward. The sign is small and partially hidden by tree branches. Then you actually drive around the back of the hotel. I wasn't sure I was at the right place until I parked out front.

Room Tip: Getting a room facing the back of the hotel might cut down on interstate traffic noise.

Hi Donna, it has been a long battle and still an ongoing one to get permission to be granted more signage for ease of visibility. I know, this is frustrating for our guests as much it is for us. Since we are an interstate hotel, we do recommend those who are light sleepers to get a room on the back side of the hotel.

Not much else to say besides the title, we arrived to a rude manager. When asked if we could leave our 16 y.o. daughter in the lobby for one hour to attend a memorial service, she flatly refused and offered no suggestions. Toilet broke in middle of the night, we had to move to another TINY room... Then she offered a $10 refund when I complained...LOL

As always, thank you for choosing us. We apologize that you feel the manager was rude by not accommodating to your child. It is against hotel policy to leave a minor in a public setting/the front lobby without a supervised adult present and neither is it management or any staff's responsibility or place to come up with a solution of child care for a minor. We pride ourselves on giving the best customer service and it is unfortunate we could not help.
