Best hotel in Kalamzoo. I got my room double bed room for $139 on a Weds night. Friendly staff. Slow shuttle. Rooms are a bit dated but staff says "renovations coming soon."

We stayed one night. Checked in @ 11:30 and went to bed. Wife pregnant at 37 weeks and a toddler. We got charged 715 dollars for a bar tap. While I know that this will be taken care of and we will file a police report, it is beyond me what the staff thought to do. Just randomly charging 715 dollars worth of drinks and not even realizing that the name on the receipts is different than the name on the room bill. Brainless... The attitude??? Instead of being embarrassed, they made us being stressed and humiliated Never again.

We were lucky to have a small suite for our stay at a family wedding. It worked out great because we have two adult children who were staying with us, so schedules are very different. Having extra living space for the weekend was fabulous. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the location of the hotel was ideal. The only negative was the construction around the entrance (made it very hard to come and go), and that the kitchen in the suite was not furnished. Other than that, it was a super stay.

Room Tip: Ask for the corner suites if they're available.

We are very happy to hear that our Suite worked out well for you and your family while you were in town for a family wedding. Thank you for your kind words about the staff and location as well. I do apologize about the construction that was going on at the time of your visit and the fact that your suite did not already have the furnishings in the room. We do appreciate your valuable feedback.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated by friendly hotel staff and housekeeping personnel around the clock. The hotel has two great restaurants that we tried, a spa, a place to buy some nice clothes, and plenty of breathing room inside the hotel. Most of what we did was either in the hotel or well within walking distance even though we had a rental car.
On a personal note, one day i returned from working and had a note from housekeeping hoping that i was enjoying my stay and that everything was acceptable. Not on any fancy stationary...just a small note. I appreciate stuff like that.
I travel across the country frequently and have stayed in nice hotels. The rooms here albeit slightly on the small side, are very warm and very comfortable. The hotel itself is outstanding overall from my perspective.

Room Tip: not sure if all rooms had them but the business class room had sleep number beds... I liked that.

We stayed here as a family for 2 nights for a soccer tournament and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is right downtown in a good location. The lobby is large and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and modern and were much better than I expected for a Radisson since I do not usually stay there, but then again, the prices seemed higher than most Radissons. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. Wireless internet in the rooms was free and fast. There are several restaurants in the hotel and we ate at one which was fairly good and they accomodated the whole team and families. The only complaint is that there is a $10 daily parking fee for the garage and it is a walk over there across an overhead cross walk. We would stay here again all things considered, expecially compared to the other nearby hotels.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The bellmen were friendly and tried to be helpful. The lobby is beautiful with a large and attractive pool/health club. Our room was clean and had a modern look. When we first arrived, the toilet would not stop running, so that had to be fixed right away. The bathroom area was quite small. Actually, the entire room was on the small side. We did not get to try out the restaurant or breakfast area. We did have one problem which really did affect our stay. We drive a conversion van, and when we arrived we realize it would not fit in their parking garage. We asked the bellman and he said they are not used to having oversized vehicles here. He then said we could valet park for $15, we declined as we were concerned about their "inexperience" driving a larger vehicle. He then told us about the garage a few blocks away. He was very nice and tried to help the best he could. He also referred us to the front desk to see what they can recommend. When I went to the desk to check in, I asked the lady what we can do regarding the parking. She became rude and said there is nothing they can do. She said we can go to the garage a few blocks away, but it would probably be more expensive. When asked about getting reimbursed, she said they don't do that. I was really disappointed and felt like the hotel didn't feel that it was their concern, I was also worried about walking back to the hotel from a few blocks away if we came back in the dark!
