“Consistently good breakfast option”
Reviewed January 21, 2012

I go here somewhat regularly and like to take out of town visitors. Love the breakfasts and especially the house made scones. They also have a good tea selection. Service and food are always very good. Pig in the garden scramble is one of my favorite breakfast items - it comes with house made potatoes (nice chunky pieces of red skin potatoes), and your choice of bread - I always go with a scone - unless they are already out :-(. My fiance had a bloody Mary the last time we were here and it just was not very good - will not order one of those again. If you like the mix of ingredients listed for the item on the menu - then order it - it will be good!

“Go There for Breakfast or Lunch”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

For breakfast or lunch, this is probably my favorite spot in Kalamazoo. Eggs, potatoes and toast may cost a bit more than at your typical breakfast spot, but they are well worth it--beautifully cooked and presented with crusty Zingerman's bread for toast. There are many good vegetarian choices for lunch, all presented with a flair. The wait staff ranks very high, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
I often go there for wine dinners or special occasions when the food is spectacular. The regular dinner menu, though, does not interest me as much as the lunch and breakfast menus.

“Great Food, Great Location, Great Service”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

Sunday Brunch has always been the favorite here. Most everything from the omelets to the french toast has been prepared with healthy or/and local ingredients. The building and deli area is worth the visit. Good food all the time.

“Cost vs. Atmosphere”
Reviewed January 6, 2012

I love the atmosphere of Food Dance. Artsy, modern, fun. The food is fresh and almost always great. I wish there was a way for this nice local downtown restaurant to give a little more for your money. I always leave feeling I was "cheated" a bit. If you consider paying for the privilege of eating there, maybe it comes out a little better. Service is usually, but not always, good. There have been times when I needed to get up and go get a server to help us. It would get 5 stars if those things would balance out more.
