People say this place is cheap. If your idea of cheap is twenty dollars per person with tax and tip, then, I agree. For Kalamazoo, a lunch that costs 15 dollars is really expensive. So what do you get for that? Well, we were the only people in the restaurant, so the service isn't bad. The meal starts with warm homemade bread. Enjoy it because it is the best part. We ordered a roast beef sandwich that was toast (soggy bread) covered in gravy made from a mix and meat that was old/ frozen. Under that was a scoop of mash potatoes made from powder that reminded me of my days eating school lunches. Not so much a sandwich as it was a plate of goo. The pizza wasn't bad. They try to have too much selection and to be high end while they are in a shopping center. You can't promise gourmet food with high prices and then serve frozen, stale food made from a mix. I can't believe they have been in business over ten years.
