I stayed at the Kalamazoo House while in Kalamazoo researching a book. The building is lovely, the proprietors, Laurel and Terry are lovely, and the food is lovely. All around, it’s well, a lovely place to stay. In addition, Laurel and Terry went well above and beyond for me. They organized and hosted an afternoon “tea” for the people I was interviewing for my book and gave me advice and assistance in researching Kalamazoo’s history. The Kalamazoo House is an extraordinary B&B with extraordinary owners. John Thomas

I had stayed at the other B&B's in Kalamazoo, but none matched the elegance, beauty and comfort of the Kalamazoo House.

The host and owners were great people to be around.

The breakfast was not a "Self Serve Continental", but a fully served cooked home meal. The options were numerous and the portions full.

The Kalamazoo House was located within a few blocks walking distance from all of the downtown restaurants, bars and attractions. The house is beautifully decorated in period furnishings, but most of all is the wonderful service.

While visiting in this pleasant historic town, we stayed at a carefully and beautifully restored converted 19th-century Victorian mansion downtown, situated in an historic district and within easy walking distance of the central business area, restaurants, museums and parks. Once the home of a wealthy cigar factory owner, all guest rooms have their own bathrooms, and it combines the privacy of an inn and a small, cozy hotel with the home-like feel of a bed and breakfast. In addition to impeccable attention to historic detail, rooms are immaculate, well-furnished in period antiques, and have amenities found in boutique hotels---fluffy towels, fresh flowers, chocolates in the room. The breakfast---included in the room rate---was gourmet fare and cooked to order. Highly recommended for business travelers as well as vacationers.

Terry and Laurel serve outstanding breakfasts and the rooms are comfortable and private. Great Chocolate chip cookies at night. Good location next to art museum and close to pedestrian mall with live music and fine food. Wonderful place.

The owners of the Kalamazoo House (Laurel and Terry) made our stay the best stay in a Bed & Breakfast ever.

The house is elegant, the breakfast was delicious and the experience tremendous.

We decided to attend my college reunion on short notice and the Radisson was booked. We are not Bed & Breakfasters by nature and chose Kalamazoo House for its central downtown location. What a delight! Brian and Dottie are gracious hosts and have lovingly restored this Victorian structure. Our room was clean, well-lighted and the enormous spa tub most refreshing. Breakfast was leisurely and tasty. All in all a most pleasant stay.
