“Jackson Classic, Modernized and Beautiful”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

The Falls have been updated, and the light show is faster and more colorful, with the music more synchronized and modern. It is delightful on a summer evening to sit outside and watch beautiful lights dance to music. Wednesdays are a great bargain, as it is geared for families (with live entertainment) to pay one low price. Climbing to the top can be challenging for those less mobile, but if you can make the climb, it is definitely a gorgeous view. There is a small museum, gift shop and snack bar within the Falls proper, and Cascades Ice Cream Co. has great offerings! Not to be missed while in Jackson!

“A nice stop - worth the admission”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We (son and grandson) recently were in Jackson and were pleasantly surprised to see that the Cascades were still in operation. We visited just after sunset, climbed to the top and then awaited the show at night. Very nice and recently refurbished from the WPA 1932 original construction. We even checked out the little museum. The inexpensive cost makes it a good value. It's not the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, but a little piece of history in Jackson.

“OK attraction”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

If you're in Jackson at night, it's a nice sight. Not sure if it's worth the admission charge to hear the music and see the "show." If the Cascades Ice Cream Company is open, that's where to go. Get some great ice cream and sit and watch the fountain change colors.

“Good old fashioned fun”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

There's something very fun, almost magical about The Cascades Falls. I have been several times, most recently in August 2013. To describe to those who are not from around here: there is low banked outdoor stadium seating in front of a tiered man-made waterfall. The waterfall lights up and the colorful lights blink and dance along with whatever music is playing. It almost sounds cheap or too man-made, but just go - it's unique and definitely worth the $4 per person charge. When my fiance and I most recently went they played more current music. In the past, they have played only oldies. It's a night time attraction being open from 8:00pm - 11:00pm. The best part about The Falls is that you can walk up the cement stairs along either side the waterfall. You will get wet, or at least misted with water. It's easy to spend an hour or so walking up and down the stairs and then sitting in the seats listening to songs and watching the lights. The Falls are a great, cheap date. I have seen all age groups enjoying The Falls. They do have a small gift shop for souvenirs and a small area to grab a snack like a hot dog, chips, pretzel, soda, etc.

“A Fun Date Night”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

There is music by local bands, concession stands, and a small ice cream stand. The waterfall is man-made. There is a stairway along side of the waterfall itself once you pay to get inside. There are bargain days to get in cheaper, you have to check online for these days. Plan to get sprayed by the water blowing, however, it is refreshing on a warm night and adds to the fun.
