We went on a roadtrip around the Great Lakes, and got into Ironwood late at night and completely exhausted. The main strip is lined with motels and hotels, and it was hard to pick one. We stopped at Quinn's because I liked the sign.
We woke the owner up, but she didn't mind and was really nice about it. We had a simple and clean room for a crazy low price (about $30), which was a great deal and exactly what we wanted that night. It's not the Ritz, but if you want somewhere that's clean and cozy with friendly owners, plus a great price, this is the place for you.
We actually ended up staying here again at the end of our trip on our way from the UP back to Chicago. We stayed in a bigger room for about the same price, and it was even nicer. There was a mini fridge and cable TV, which suited us just fine.
