Our group stayed in several rooms. Our's was a small kitchenette that was very dated, probably last updated before I was born! But the view from our room of Ice Lake was beautiful. It was so close to the Lake that sitting from the bed it almost looked as though we were in a boat. Although the room was very "vintage" it was extremely clean.
Great view of Ice Lake
A DVD player built into the TV
Kitchen had plenty of utensils, pots/pans, dishes, appliances
Great outdoor space
The price, very affordable
The bugs collected on the door because of the light outside and every time the door was opened they flew in and by the end of the day they were swarming the room near light sources. We had to leave the bathroom light on to collect them in there to get them out of the main room.
the kitchen was small and the knobs on the stove were loose and twice the gas was accidentally left on while we were gone because someone accidentally knocked into one.
Room was cramped
No bathtub, only a shower
Hot water ran out quickly, but also replenished quickly
Now this review is only for the small kitchenette. One of the regular 2 queen rooms that some of our party occupied was much more updated and spacious. It had a mini fridge, microwave, and bathtub. They also didn't seem to have the same bug problem that we did.
I think your experience will depend on your expectations and what you mind or don't mind. The small kitchenette felt more like camping with an indoors. I would stay here again but not in the small kitchenette. I'd stay in a regular room.
