“Check it out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2011

I come here pretty often. In the summer you can climb the stair from the base of the mountain to the top of the jump. It's quite a little work out. The view from the top is scenic and pretty at any time of the year and you can see out for miles. If you choose not to walk, you can drive up on the backroads. I personally have never ski'd here but it is pretty full in the winter. The main attraction that draws a lot of people is the annual ski jump. If you haven't experience one, you should at least once. It's an amazing sight.

“Beware, dirty and outdated”

We checked into this hotel and it was horrible. The rooms are old, the bedding looked worn, and I refused to stay. We checked out immediately.

“World Class Ski jumping what an attraction”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2011

We attended the Ski Jumping event held yearly at Pine Mountain. Two days of non-stop tailgating in the huge parking lot while jumpers from all over the world made fantastic jumps off the ski jumping structure. Not sure which was more fun--watching the jumpers or watching the tailgating partys around 55 gallon drum campfires. It was great. I urge all winter event lovers to check it out--you won't be sorry!!
