My 12 year old son and I came unannounced one evening and the hotel didn't look like there were other guests. A handful of people were playing slot machines in what's called the casino. Everything looked like it had seen better times. Clearly it was not the right season to go there as the pool had not been cleaned in a long while. When we asked for a pool-view room the receptionist advised us to take one from the opposite side, as the water would only heat slowly near the pool. The water never heated up and in the morning a employee brought us two buckets of hot water. Probably boiled in the kitchen... That way you could not take a shower but had to improvise in the bath tub. The room was dusty and the TV didn't have a clear signal on the two channels. Breakfast was included only for one person and consisted of a little omelet on a huge plate. The accommodation cost 672.50 Emalangehni and the breakfast (for the additional person) was 58 E (total cost was USD 80). Southern Swaziland does not yet have a good tourist infrastructure so there was no alternative to this ghost place.
