We asked the gals at the hotel where to go for breakfast and they didn't hesitate even a second--SUMI! they told us (I don't know whether it's the correct pronunciation for "Suomi," but that's what they call it up there--SOOMI.) The atmosphere in the place is minimal--it is, essentially, a little breakfast diner (if such a thing exists), and is very cheap, and looks it. The service was fine, though, and the quality of the food was--yum!!! We had the Nisu toast (my boyfriend qualified it as "best toast he'd ever had") and the Panukakku (which is essentially a big flan-type pancake, and is also very good with hot raspberry sauce). I think our total bill was something like $13, and we were in and out within half an hour.
