“Plenty of Room for Everyone and Food was GREAT”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

The place was packed with family gatherings. There was a party of 40 and our small party of 16. We all put our orders in at the same time, but the party of 40 beat us to the cooks. But what can you expect. There's only so many burners on the stove.
We had a wait for our food to arrive, but it was great to visit with the family members. I should have asked for a bread basket as we had some hungry kids, but only thought of this just a few minutes before the food arrived. The waitress kept us informed of what was happening, and about how long before we would be served. Kudos to her for this service. They must have been scrambling in the kitchen between the almost 60 of just all of us folks, let alone the rest of their customers. Well the food was great - tasty, delicious and plates looked nice too. Everyone was very satisfied with what was served. Seafood dishes were super, chicken breast was fresh and cooked well. Burgers and fries were a big hit, and large, and you could even order bigger ones if you wished. It was a very cold evening outside, but warm and inviting inside. We certainly will be back. Menu has many choices, and a nice selection of sides.

“SLEDDING FOOD STOP”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

My hunting and fishing buddies (5) stopped in for breakfast! The atmosphere was only surpassed by the great food and service. We will definitely make it back on our sledding trips!

“Not very good”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Second time in . First was for breakfast w/ friends and it was very good. Second was breakfast and waited 1/2 hour for 2 eggs hashbrowns and toast w/ bacon and a fried egg sandwich . Asked for hashbrowns well done came raw the bacon was NOT even cooked on my plate or the fried egg sandwhich. Waitress tried to say well I put it down on the order the way you wanted it but then goes and servers this lousy breakfast w/ RAW bacon. Also a couple comes in and is seated and for 20 minutes not one server took an order or gave them coffee for which they walked out. If this PLACEIS GOING TO MAKE IT it beter get it's act together !

“Could Improve”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

We live in the local area, so we knew this place "before" and are now trying to give them local business because it IS much improved - especially in the "clean" department. Tonight's dinner reminded us that we tend to keep reading the dinner menu like something new is going to appear. The night's special was a burger - which is already on the menu. Too few choices - something creative from the kitchen would be nice. The chicken I had was moist and tasty. My husband's burger, though, was obvious frozen from one of the restaurant suppliers. The texture was bad and the meat flavorless. If it doesn't add tremendously to the overhead, hand pattied FRESH burgers would really be nice.
