Owner description: A visit to Nelis' Dutch Village is like a step back into the Netherlands of over 100 years ago on a day when a festival came to town. Watch old Dutch craft demonstrations and Dutch klompen dancers. Taste 22 kinds of Dutch cheeses, beautiful Dutch architecture and listen to the Golden Angel street organ. Includes unlimited rides on the Ferris wheel, carousel and Dutch chair swing ride. Unique shopping, Dutch cafe and pub, and fudge and ice cream.

It is a very small quaint Dutch village with a few rides for the kids, a small petting farm & a few gift shops. Wish there was more to do there as they charge $10 to get in. However, it is cute and we loved all the statues around the village. They only have 2 restaurants there-a buffet and a small cafe.

I did not actually pay admission to go into the village. I was really only interested in going to the Holland House Candle Shop. The candle shop has been featured on How It's Made and features hand dipped and carved candles. The staff was all very friendly and will make you a custom candle as you watch.

Best value for money for families with kids. Lotsa activities and you can spend a whole day. Don't miss their cheese making demo and a taste afterwards. Their cafeteria is also awesome and serves delicious veggies wraps and fresh made fries. They had the best tulips that we saw in holland. Better than veldhere's.

My children had a great time. There was plenty for them to do and see. We spent about 4 hours and that was all that was needed to see everything. We also liked that once you got in you were not expect to pay extra for anything, except for food and souvenirs.
However, This would not be a place for teenagers unless they wanted to buy or see a couple Dutch things (Ie wooden shoes and Delft ware) The rides and such are aimed more for the 10 and under crowed.
It was definitely an American version on an old Dutch city but it was cute, with a friendly staff, and I was thrilled that they sold Delft ware.

We took our 4 year old and 2 year old this weekend, They LOVED the park. So much to do with rides animals and dancing we ended up staying almost all day! Wore them right out. Love the shops and of course the wooden shoes! only 28.00 for entry (two adults one child/ on under 3) and a full day of adventure!
Strollers and wheelchairs are available to rent for 1& 2 dollars a day!
