We had to wait awhile for a table, as it is a small place, and we didn't quite know what to do with ourselves - there are only 3 or 4 chairs in the waiting area and anywhere else feels like you're in the way of the staff. The food was very good, though.

I've written before about the excellent breakfasts here, but I need to add that the lunch menu is just as good. I tried the chicken tacos this time and loved them. Not too heavy but a complete, creative meal. The server was knowledgeable, helpful, and always attentive. The menu isn't extensive, but there is a wide variety of items and everyone should find something that suits their taste.

Awesome meal, I had the baked potato omelet while others in family had a french toast concoction or the whole grain pancakes - all delicious!

We stayed at the City Flats Hotel in downtown, which was a bit of a walk to the restaurant but it was a nice day, we decided it wasn't too far. It's a bit off the down town area, almost hidden in the neighborhood.
The menu had your traditional eggs, bacon, pancakes, but also some unique items like Rice pancakes, which had rice mixed into the mix (not just rice flour) also the Chicken Bacon Hash, which was a hashbrown mix with chicken, bacon and peppers, very flavorful.
The decor was a country meets urban mix, definitely has a home grown feel to it. we will be back on our next trip.

The Biscuit serves the very best breakfast in Holland. Rob and Tracy do a fantastic job of making each guest feel at home. We have tried nearly every item on the menu, and have never been disappointed. They make home made lemon curd and onion jam that are amazing. They offer a kids menu with fun items (like puppy and butterfly pancakes) for the younger crowd. If the french toast with pumpkin marscapone mousse is on the specials board, you have to try it. The scrambles are always excellent. Take home some homemade granola, scones or special pastries. They are very good.
