“Holliday buffet was terrific”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Looking for a quieter place for a holiday buffet..this was it. The layout was complete but not overwhelming. It was flavorful and intriguing as well. Service was excellent, prompt and courteous. We have been here for meals before and were looking forward to the same level---and it did!
We are returning for the next buffet. and will make this part of our regular list.

“Swanky bar/restaurant with a city-scape feel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

City Vu feels like it should be downtown Chicago. It's very chic, has a great cocktail and dinner menu, and is a great place to meet for drinks. Their gourmet flatbread pizzas are great for sharing.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

Have dined here many times and tonight was by far the most dissapointing. The service was border line poor and the food mediocre. The soup was a few degrees above room temperature and there were apples in the salmon caesar salad. The Flatbread we ordered did not taste nor present itself as in the past. The server did not come to the table once during any course to check on the quality of the food or to refill beverages. Not what was expected at all.

“looked good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2013

The food looked very good, but really had no taste. The table service was slow - at one point I had to go to the bar and find the waiter. He was good when he was around. Loved the view, stayed at the hotel and was very nice. Probably would not go to restaurant again.

“A nice change of pace for Holland”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

We hadn't been back to this restaurant since they first opened. We decided to try it again for something different. We weren't disappointed. They have a wood burning oven and make great pizza. They have quite a variety of good, lighter meals. We were very pleased to learn that bottls of wine are 1/2 price on Wednesday, so that made for a nice treat. The service is good and the view is something you can't get anywhere else.
