“Great little place in a great little town”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Traveling thru Michigan and friends took me to this great little place in town. Very friendly atmosphere and the ambience was very inviting. Had the pico de gallo fish and it was delicious. Served just the right temperature from a happy Waitress.
A guitar player was playing that night and was very good. They have a full bar, and great desserts. If you ever pass thru Hillsdale Michigan, don't miss out on this gem!

“Nice place”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

With the rain we had to go out for dinner instead of grilling. Stumbled onto this place in Hillsdale, Mi. Ordred the pot roast dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The service was very good and friendly. Nice atmosphere and good food. Didn't hear any singers like other reviews so maybe the owner got the message. A must stop if you are in the area!

“The Best In town!!!”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

I would like to say this is the best place in town to eat. The personal touch just tops it for me. I eat there almost every day and will continue. I must say that the food is the best! They will go out of their way to make you happy. Service is 5 star!

We usually go as a group of 10 or more and always receive excellent food at a reasonable price and the service is excellent as well.

“Too much music but otherwise very good”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

For a country restaurant the food here is very good. The ingredients are fresh and really nicely cooked, in fact as well as any higher class restaurant. It is cozy and has a really pleasant atmosphere. The wait staff are usually very enthusiastic and extremely pleasant. My two grumbles are that the only vegetables on the menu to accompany the fish or meat is spinach and broccoli, always. A small nice selection of stir fry vegetables would make a whole difference or at least a change of vegetables. Another criticism is the singers they have in. The music is incredibly loud and I have talked to many many people who frequent the restaurant and we are all in agreement that we would prefer to be without it and maybe just have some quiet piped music or nothing at all. Everyone's taste in music is different so better not to run it than to offend. We had dinner there a few nights ago and said that we would need to find somewhere else to eat as we simply could not hear each other speak. It is a great mistake a lot of restaurant owners make. I do hope this review reaches the owner.
Other than these two criticisms we all (many friends) agree that it is an extremely good place to eat with a very varied and large menu and well prepared food.
