We found earwigs in the beds, on the walls, and in the bathroom. When we checked out early because of this, they refused to refund any of our money! They suggested changing the sheets, like a roomful of bugs could be solved by that! We found 5 earwigs in our 2 beds!
We have stayed often and the owners are about as nice as you get.
Older motel, but nice picnic area, RV parking room & for large trucks/trailers.
Fridge and Microwave in each room. Small shower but adequate. What we really liked is we have two dogs and they were superb and welcoming about them, they are barkers so put us in end unit and told us not to worry if they bark. Hard to find welcome for dogs and they take all sizes. $10.00 a night but waved as stayed multiple nights, they are negotiable when not fully booked. Nicest motel in Harrison as far as walking distance to shopping, restaurants and closest to flea market, county fairgrounds. Located in center of town and only block from the water. We stayed at the Lkeside motel and were horrible with the dogs only let us walk them on small tiny strip next to busy old 27 highway. Walk couple minutes to City Park and Fishing Pier 1/2 block away behind motel.
Everything was old but it was clean. The shower was small. If your on
a small budget, it's just right.:)
