This is not a luxury hotel however it felt very homey and cozy. It was kept very clean and every staff member was kind and courteous. Our fireplace and bathroom exhaust fan didn't work, but we were told the exhaust fan DID work but that it's silent. Never heard that one before! Told Manager about fireplace but he just said, "it should work". It didn't. Breakfast was typical "free breakfast". You get what you don't pay for. It was good enough if you aren't looking for a huge meal. Pool area was heavily chlorinated but that was probably a good idea since there were so many children. All in all the hotel is convenient to the area and we would go back. The price was too high but I think that was because it was around the xmas holiday.

I highly recommend this facility. They went above and beyond to help me. I had a wonderful visit. I was in the area visiting family for Christmas. Jake, the clerk at the front desk helped me find all the information that I needed. I was very pleased with my stay.

This fairly new property has very little competition in Greenville, since the only other motel further down M-57 (closer to the center of town) is an absolute dump. That may be why this place is a bit over-priced. But the AmericInn has a beautiful lobby with a roaring gas fireplace and overstuffed furniture which makes it a great place to sit in the evening with a (free) cup of coffee from the 24-hour coffee bar. The lobby area reminded me of a guest house that I stayed in overlooking the North Sea in England. There were also warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk when I checked in! My room was fairly large, and the mattress was very comfortable. The indoor pool is open fairly late and also has a hot tub which is great after a long drive, so bring your swim suit. There's plenty of parking -- even if you're pulling a camper or a trailer with a couple of snow-mobiles. There are restaurants nearby, including several fast-food choices. And if you're looking for a good bottle of wine, the Meijer super store just down the street has a great wine selection. Finally, if your vehicle needs some attention, there are Chevy, Ford and Chrysler-Jeep dealers nearby. All in all, this AmericInn is in a great location for travelers -- even if it seems a bit pricey. I would definitely stop here again if I was staying in Greenville.

Room Tip: I didn't notice an elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, you may want to request a room on...

Everything about the stay was great. There was a wonderful welcoming clerk at check in and check out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the food was very good. My grandson really enjoyed the pool. We had even received a percentage discount by e-mail that helped make our decision to stay there.

This property is only 3 years old. It is bright and cheery and decorated for the holidays. The lobby has a fireplace and overstuffed chairs, couches, and footstools. The staff from front desk to housekeeping was very congenial and welcoming. There is a 24 hour coffee/drink station in the lobby and freshly made chocolate chip cookies were served in the early evening. Pool area looked very clean and fresh. Rooms were clean and fresh; beds and pillows very comfortable. There were 3 couples of us who got together for a mid-winter get away and play games and cards. We were allowed to use tables in the breakfast area or a meeting room to be able to share this "game" time together.

The staff was rigid, snobby, rude just plain unpleasant. The rooms were average, although some had a stale smell. It feels more like a $40 hotel instead of $105 but as there is no competition in the area they get away with over charging.
