Cinco de Mayo offers nothing to get particularly excited about. The food is decent, but not especially outstanding. And, on the day we were there, the service brusque and inattentive--and the restaurant was not particularly busy. We felt like we were more than a bother than a welcome customer.
Each of entrees were bland and unexciting. My "Hot and Spicy Burrito" was neither hot nor spicy and filled with enough rice to induce a starch coma. Only our appetizer, the Queso Charro was interesting...though, again the chorizo could really use some oomph.
The only plus is that you can find nearly every major Mexican beer on the drink list. But that's small consolation to the otherwise mundane food.
