“Great Place!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

This place Rocks!! Easy to get around. Not a bad seat in the house. The "Vault" bar doesn't have a cozy vault feel, but its a great place to get a beer and chill before the event. Drink prices a bit high. even for a concert venue.

“Rock and Roll Never Forgets”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Traveling to Grand Rapids to see Bob Seger is always a treat because Van Andel Arena is the best place to hear him sing short of having him in your own livingroom. The acoustics are great at Van Andel making it a pure pleasure to visit.
The crowd flows easily in the venue which can be reached by the street entrance or the skywalk that connects many of the downtown businesses.
The staff is both courteous and helpful with an excellent attitude toward their guests.
The parking there is basically unlimited with several options available and the arena is easily accessible from US-131 off the Pearl St. Exit.
Always a good time going to events at Van Andel!

It is a great place for shows and exhibitions BUT why does the concert music have to be SOOOO loud? People next to us left because of that............louder is not better.

“Great venue”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a great venue to see a concert. We have attended many concerts here and it is always fantastic. There really isn't a bad seat in the place. Always very clean. It is within walking distance of many hotels. Parking is close. Traffic is handled very well.

“Outstanding Site For NCAA Hockey Regionals”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Extremely well-run sports arena where I spent the weekend at the NCAA Hockey Regionals. My seat was an excellent one where I could see all of the hockey action and all of the staff that I encountered here were very personable and welcoming.

Grand Rapids, MI was an excellent site for the NCAA Hockey Regionals because of the excellence of Van Andel Arena!
