We love eating here. Sometimes there is a little wait, but well worth it. We have eaten breakfast and lunch here. I love the portabella sandwich. Our favorite breakfast is the vegetable hash. Portions are huge and all of the food is made from scratch. The pancakes are so large, one is usually enough! Be sure to try the cinnamon roles. One will feed two people. Very reasonably priced.

What wonderful food, once we discovered the Real Food Cafe we ate there every day. The pancakes are outstanding; the home-fries are delivered in mountainous proportions and the eggs Benedict still lives in my dreams. I ordered mine with crispy bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked and there were pools of hollindase sauce surrounding the English muffin. There's even a vegetarian version served with veggies and roasted red pepper hollindase sauce. They open early and closed around 2:30, check the website. Breakfast, brunch and lunch are served during business hours. Don't miss it, once you discover Real Foods you'll be there every day.

There are two locations in GR's:
2419 Eastern Avenue SE, GR, MI 616-241-4080
5430 Northland Dr. NE, GR, MI 616-361-1808

Enjoy!

A place only open for breakfast and lunch. Come at the busy times and you will wait a table. The servings are HUGE! The corned beef hash is the best I have ever had. The pastry selection is awesome! Bring cash as they don't take credit or debit cards.

for sure the best corn beef hash in GR! BY FAR! great breakfast. The portions were very generous, service was fantastic and price was fair. Service was fast, and resturant clean. Great breakfast spot.

It was sooo good we ate there two days in a row while on our trip. The menu is filled with every imaginable way to prepare breakfast foods, lunch and/or brunch. There are plenty of healthy options along with standard fare and unique omelets, waffles and the like. The service during both visits was great. They close at 2; are usually very busy; and it's pretty loud in there since it's generally packed with people. They accept cash or local checks only.... no credit cards. Go!
