“Best fast food burger”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2013

Halo Burger is by far the best fast food burger. I really like the 1/2 pound burger. It is a thick burger, not 2 thin 1/4 pound burgers. Halo burger also offers unique toppings, I like the peppers and my wife likes the mushrooms.

“Food good but would be better hot.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

I was in a little past dinner rush. Ordered a half pound burger. It came out way to fast to have been cooked fresh. And it was not very hot. Expensive for a ast food place.

“Burger with Olives”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

Tried for the 1st time a burger with green olives....simply awesome. Great hot fries and a Vernor's Boston Cooler hit the spot. There is one closer to 75 on Holly road. Must give it a try for some down home Flint goodness.

“Tough to find a Better Burger”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

I must confess, I grew up in the Flint area in the 70's so I'm probably biased. Halo Burger is a small chain the started in Flint way back. It's fast food - nothing extravagant - but around long before McDonalds, Burger King, or Wendy's showed up in the area.

There is nothing better than a half-pound supreme with fries and a chocolate shake. Arrive hungry - you'll leave stuffed.

The food is great, the staff if friendly and the burgers are great. If you ever are travelling in the area - you may come across a Halo Burger. Do yourself a favor and try one - I'm sure you'll be a fan.

“No Longer Thomas Owned but Still a Great Burger”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

The small Burger chain was sold from the Thomas family to Dortch Enterprises (Subway owners). However, they have kept the same great quality and the Burgers have not changed. Try a 1/2 lb. Supreme, deluxe with olives and cheese...you will melt! The Grand Blanc location on Hill rd. has a kids play-place with dining area and the Grand Blanc, Holly Rd. location is more of a drive-thru style (one of the new locations the Dortch company opened). If you really want to experience Halo Burger, then head to the downtown Flint location on S. Saginaw. Order up your burger with fries and a Boston Cooler (vanilla shake mixed with Vernors ginger ale). Enjoy!
