Blu is my favorite restaurant in the U.S. and trust me I tried many great ones. Randy and Mari are the most gracious hosts and the food is always fantastic and fresh for the season. Most all entree items are from local farms except for the fish which is flown in daily from Hawaii. The prices are up there but you don't mind paying for great food and service and not to mention the great wine list.

“Treat yourself to something special!”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Had dinner at Blu to celebrate our anniversary while visiting the Glen Arbor area. In a word DELICIOUS! The food, the view, the service, the atmosphere! Just lovely! Was so excited the morels were still in season with several of the day's menu noting inclusion. My husband had the asparagus bisque with a puree of asparagus and morels in the bowl with an amazing creamy broth added table side. I had the quail entree with a delicious sweetbread stuffing with morel ravioli while my husband had Hawaiian Kajicki seared medium rare--also incredible! Gorgeous view looking out at the Manitou islands in a lovely, intimate setting. Wonderful staff with personal attention by the chef to ensure satisfaction. A wonderfully memorable experience! Thank you!

“GREAT DINING Experience! Gourmet meals in Glen Arbor”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Blu is THE restaurant to dine in when visiting Glen Arbor. The menu is filled with gourmet offerings and the prices are on the high side but you will not be disappointed. The food is wonderful and the hosts (owners) make you feel special and welcome.

“Blu, on Lake Michigan”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Glen Arbor, a small town on Lake Michigan, surrounded by the National Lakeshore, has a 5 star restaurant. It is owned by chef Randy Chamberlain and his wife Mari, a second degree sommelier. Their food is fresh, local, creative, beautiful, and really delicious. The wine pairings are right on the mark. Since it is on the lake and facing west, the sunsets are spectacular and unique. The staff is well trained and attentive. I highly recommend blu.
